Covid-19 or Coronavirus Updates from the City of Lower Burrell

As the situation regarding COVID19 in Western Pennsylvania continues to be fluid situation, the City of Lower Burrell is monitoring data and following the recommendations from the local, state, and federal authorities. We are working to mitigate the spread of the virus as recommended from the CDC and strongly encourage residents to practice social distancing to limit the spread of the disease. To further protect the citizens of Lower Burrell, Council felt it necessary to declare a Disaster Declaration starting Monday, March 16, 2020 at 8:00AM. Please continue to check for status updates. This webpage will be a resource for you to check the continuing updates, press releases, etc. that will be distributed by the City.

Out of an abundance of caution and following recommendations from federal and state officials and the CDC, the City has closed our lobbies to walk in visitors. We are available to answer questions via phone and email to continue to serve you. Our Police Department is handling non-emergency calls for service via telephone, if your request is deemed appropriate for a telephone response. Please call 911 for requests for service. Temporarily we have suspended the drug drop off program.
